US record executives are reportedly trying to encourage Harry Styles take the lead in One Direction.
The boys are currently in America filming a cameo for hit Nickelodeon show iCarly before they head on tour with Big Time Rush - and Columbia music are sure they'll be a hit if the spotlight's put on Harry.
'They decided long ago that Harry is a natural front man,' says an insider.
'He's funny, confident and has a great voice.'
But Harry, 18, and his band mates Louis Tomlinson, 20, Zayn Malik, 19, plus Liam Payne and Niall Horan, both 18, don't want to change their set-up.
'They are determined to carry on the way they have been - without a lead singer,' a friend tells Daily Star.
'Harry certainly hasn't asked for all this attention.'
