Peter Andre and Katie Price divorced in 2009 after 4 years of marriage

Peter Andre claims that ex-wife Katie Price wanted them to reignite their romance - but he insists he'll never get back with her.

The pair, who divorced in 2009, went through a recent brief period of peace, but they're no longer on speaking terms as reality TV star Pete says the 'bitterness is still there'.

'She did 100 per cent ask me to go back with her romantically,' says Pete, 38.

'She wanted us to spend Christmas and New Year together, but I won't ever go there.'

Though Pete thinks Katie, 33, could still be hung up on him, he insists he's ready to fall in love again - with someone new.

'I think there is some form of obsession with me, or us,' he says.

'I just want to move on.

'For so long I wasn't ready to make a commitment, but I am now.'
