Bruce Willis offers ill Demi Moore the chance to recover at his Idaho home

Action hero Bruce Willis has come to the rescue of ex-wife Demi Moore after she was rushed to hospital with ‘exhaustion'.

Daughter Rumer Willis, 23, made a tearful phone call to her dad after Demi, 49, collapsed at her LA home and was taken to hospital last Monday.

Bruce, 56 - who split with Demi in 2000 - is now arranging for her to recover at his place in Idaho.

It comes as US websites claim the actress, who battled drink and drug problems in the 80s, had collapsed after inhaling nitrous oxide (laughing gas).

It was also alleged that prescription medication had played a part.

However, Demi's spokesman refused to comment, saying she chose to get professional help to treat exhaustion because of ‘the stresses in her life'.
