Dougie Poynter is planning a future with Lara Carew-Jones

Dougie Poynter and his artist girlfriend Lara Carew-Jones made their red carpet debut at the National Television Awards last night.

The smitten pair stepped out together at London's O2 Arena - and we couldn't help noticing that brunette Lara looks a little bit like Dougie's former girlfriend Frankie Sandford, 23.

But I'm A Celebrity jungle king Dougie, 24, is over Frankie and wants to settle down with 21-year-old Lara.

'Let's just say I definitely think she's The One,' he revealed after winning the reality show.

'I adore kids. I haven't really thought about when, but I can't wait.

'They're gonna be little crocodile hunters.'
