Max George and Michelle Keegan keep romance going on Skype

After reports of a split, the couple hook up over internet

Michelle Keegan and Max George have denied their engagement is over

Max George and Michelle Keegan have come out fighting against rumours that they've called off their engagement.

Max is touring the US with The Wanted and Michelle is home in the UK, but they're talking over the internet.

'It's hard because of the time difference,' says the Corrie star, 'but we have a daily Skype session.'

The pair insists they haven't cancelled their wedding and that the nuptials were never scheduled for this year.

But Now can reveal that as recently as December, The Wanted's Max, 23, was planning his stag do for May.

He also revealed that his fiancée, Corrie's Michelle, 24, had already been buying wedding mags. So what's going on?

Adding to the mystery, Michelle was spotted minus her engagement ring, though she's wearing it again now.

Max's spokesman says: ‘They never set a wedding date and are taking as much time as necessary to make sure the day is perfect.'
