Adele: My boyfriend Simon Konecki isn't married

Singer Adele turns to her blog to reveal the truth

Adele met Simon Konecki last summer through friends

Adele has spoken out for the first time about her relationship with Simon Konecki.

It had been falsely reported than entrepreneur Simon was still a married man - but Adele has been quick to quash the rumours.

'This is the first and last time I will comment on the details of my relationship with Simon,' Adele, 23, writes on her blog.

'Contrary to reports and headlines in the press today, Simon is divorced and has been for 4 years.

'Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa.

'These are the facts. Take care and see you all in February xx.'

Adele's words confirm Now's report that Simon, 36, divorced stylist Carly Fisher - with whom he has a 5-year-old daughter - in 2008.

But we've also learnt that while things are currently going well for Adele and Simon, his friends have warned her to be careful.

'He was with Clary for nearly 10 years and the split's still raw,' says his pal.

'It was over way before he met Adele but, as with any other split, there'll always be feelings there.'
