When The Wanted burst on to the music scene in 2010, it marked the return of the hellraising boy band.
It was all about the booze, the wild parties, the girls and the tabloid rows with fellow pop stars.
So what do Max George, Tom Parker, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes make of the new boys on the block, One Direction?
'We've met them a few times,' Max, 23, tells Now's Dan Wootton. 'They're nice. I'd like to see what they're like after having a beer.'
Max is loved-up with Corrie star Michelle Keegan - despite tabloid claims the pair have called off their marriage plans. But he's impressed by 1D's pulling power.
'Harry Styles is doing alright with Caroline Flack, isn't he?' he says.
'I'm delighted for the boy. I think it's great for both of them.
'She's like: "So what if he's 15 years younger?"
'And he's like: "Brilliant, she's 15 years older!"'
Nathan is gutted that Caroline is off the market - he thought they had 'something special'.
'I think Olly Murs might be second in line, mate,' Max tells him.
