Cheryl Cole has Tweeted her support to Girls Aloud band mate Nadine Coyle.
Irish singer Nadine, who lives in America, revealed last night that she was 'devastated' her good friend had died - and Cheryl was quick to offer her condolences.
'Nadine. I just want you to know I am thinking of you at this sad and tragic time. I'm so sorry to hear of your lost. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. God bless you all. All my love Cheryl xx,' Tweeted the 28-year-old Geordie singer.
The pair are rumoured to have completely lost touch since Nadine moved to the US several years ago - and things only got more awkward after the 26-year-old's solo efforts flopped, while Cheryl's proved popular.
Nonetheless, Girls Aloud were all set to reform for their 10-year anniversary in 2012, but plans have been been pushed back because of reported arguments over money.
'Cheryl and Nicola Roberts are putting their solo careers on hold,' our source tells us, 'so they want a larger share of the profits.
'But Nadine feels they should all be paid equally, like before.'
