Jay-Z's tribute song Glory reveals Beyonce suffered miscarriage before baby Blue Ivy

Rapper posts the tack on his website

Beyonce and husband Jay-Z are new parents

Jay-Z has penned a song for his new baby daughter Blue Ivy that includes a lyric revealing wife Beyoncé Knowles went through a 'tragic' miscarriage.

The rapper posted the track - named Glory - online following the birth of his little girl at Lennox Hill Hospital, New York, at the weekend.

'Last time the miscarriage was tragic,' Jay, 42, raps. 'We was afraid you'd disappear but, nah, baby you're magic.'

He continues on a more uplifting note: 'The most amazing feeling I feel, words can't describe what I'm feeling for real.

'Baby, I paint the sky blue, my greatest creation was you.'  

The couple, who married in 2008, released an official statement about the birth on 30-year-old Beyoncé's website yesterday.

'Hello Hello Baby Blue!' they wrote.

'We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012.

'Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven.

'She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives.

'We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.'
