Sarah Harding has alleged that her ex-boyfriend Theo De Vries was violent towards her during an argument in Austria in the early hours of New Year's Day.
The Girls Aloud star says she had booked herself on a flight home from her holiday with Theo because they weren't getting on, but when it was cancelled she returned to their hotel room and claims the Dutchman had been drinking.
When he wouldn't help with her suitcases, an argument ensued and she alleges he grew increasingly aggressive.
'He was smacking my head on the floor,' says Sarah, 30. 'He bit my ear.
'And when I kicked him to try and get him off me, I got his nose and he was bleeding.
'He smeared the blood all over my face so it was all over my clothes.'
Following the 'giant struggle', hysterical Sarah says she was found in the courtyard by a Swedish couple and taken to hospital, where her arm was bandaged after doctors thought it could be fractured.
Sarah says she bit Theo on the leg when he was trying to pin her
down and threw a mug at him in defence, but the angry sunglasses
salesman claims he is the victim.
'She's a bitch for trying to blame this all on me,' Theo tells The Sun.
'I've never hit anyone in my life. I did restrain her but nothing more.
'I held her down by her wrists to try to stop her attacking me. The bandage must be to do with that.'
Sarah met and fell for Theo during her stay in rehab for depression and alcohol addiction in South Africa, but says she thinks she was 'on a rebound' after her split from DJ Tom Crane.
Neither Theo nor Sarah have been charged for assault.
