'Nerves' keep Kate Middleton slim after ditching Dukan diet

Kate Middleton is reportedly suffering from sleepless nights

Before her engagement to Prince William, Kate Middleton was a healthy size 10, but she's since dropped to a size 6 - tiny for her 5ft 10in frame.

With fans of the royal couple desperate for baby news, 30-year-old Kate's even faced speculation that she'll be unable to conceive unless she puts on weight.

Kate's ditched her pre-wedding Dukan diet and toned up in recent months, going for three runs a week with her bodyguard.

An insider says she's made a ‘special effort to add muscle' after she was criticised for being too thin.

But despite returning to her normal diet, known to include frozen pizza and lasagne, she's told pals that it's ‘nerves' that have kept her slim.

‘When she's worried she loses her appetite,' says Now's source.

‘We hope it won't get worse when Wills leaves for the Falklands and she's left alone.

'She used to be bullied at school for being skinny and she's still incredibly shy.'
