Victoria Beckham spends first night away from Harper Seven as she enjoys romantic date with David

Posh and Becks visit The Savoy for the evening

Victoria Beckham's first daughter Harper Seven was born in July

Victoria Beckham handed baby Harper Seven over to good friend Tana Ramsay when she stayed at The Savoy hotel with husband David over the Christmas break.

The former Spice Girl, who give birth to her first daughter in July, dined at the posh London establishment and stayed the night while Gordon Ramsay's wife, 37, kept watch over Harper.  

'There's only one friend Victoria would trust to look after her precious baby girl and that's Tana,' a source tells the Daily Mail.

'She and David checked in to The Savoy just before Christmas. It's the first time she has left Harper overnight.'

Victoria, 37, and David, 36, decided on a little private time after their extravagant festivities with 6-month-old Harper and three sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 9, and Cruz, 6.

The couple splashed out £35,000 on Christmas trees and decorations for their Hertfordshire mansion at London store Fortnum & Mason.

'David and Victoria love everything about the festive season and wanted everything just right for their three boys,' revealed an insider, 'and, of course, for Harper's first family Christmas.'
