She may be the queen of exercise DVDs, but what we love most about Davina McCall is her honesty.
Mum to Holly, 10, Tilly, 8, and Chester, 5, 44-year-old Davina confesses: ‘I always put on weight at this time of year.'
Davina excercises regularly to get back to her ideal size, but also eats healthily.
'I don't cut out any foods, so I enjoy things like rice, potatoes and butter, but I try to have my main meal at lunchtime and a lighter dinner, like a tuna steak and salad,' she explains.
'Once you're over 40 your body doesn't need as much food.'
Davina lost loads of weight once on the Atkins diet - only to put it all back on again.
'I also tried cutting out meals, so I'd skip dinner if I had a dress to fit into, but it's the worst thing you can do,' she explains.
'Your body thinks it's starving, so it stores more when you eat meals the next day.
'All diets do is make you obsess about the foods you're not allowed to eat.'

Don't eat anything white
No white bread, rice or pasta. Go wholewheat everything; the fibre helps with your digestion
Try not to eat carbs at your evening meal
Try to eat dinner no later than 6.30pm
Exercise three times a week
