Konnie Huq is pregnant with her first child

Konnie Huq was Blue Peter's longest-running female presenter

Konnie Huq and Charlie Brooker have confirmed that they're to become parents for the first time.

The former Blue Peter and Xtra Factor host and her husband, who married in Las Vegas in August last year, are thrilled to be expecting a little boy.

'Konnie is telling friends how happy she and Charlie are,' her agent confirms.

'She is definitely pregnant and is 100 per cent expecting a boy.'

Konnie, 36, is reportedly due to give birth to 40-year-old Charlie's baby at Easter.
