Gok Wan's perfect Christmas Night In...

The Gokster loves an old-fashioned, traditional Xmas...

Gok Wan likes to hang out with his mate Elaine

Gok Wan, 37, likes to make personal Christmas presents for his loved ones, including parents Myra and John. 

'At this time of year my best mate Elaine comes round and we make special books full of photos, letters and mementoes from the year to give to our folks and close friends,' he explains.

'I'll light candles, bake some treats and put up a tree - a real one, for the pine scent.

'Then Elaine and I will sit there stuffing cloves into oranges and stitching ribbons on to the gingerbread men we've made earlier.'

Gok is usually too busy to watch TV, but likes to play carols and old Christmas songs, like Bing Crosby's White Christmas, to get in the festive spirit - literally.

'Elaine and I will drink Bombay Sapphire gin with chilled slimline tonic,' says the celebrity stylist.

'I'll also put out lots of lovely finger foods, such as filo prawns, marinated tofu and nuts, for us to nibble on as we work.'
