Jeff Brazier: My date helped me dodge tequila disaster

Jeff Brazier appreciates his crafty companion

Has Jeff Brazier found a partner in crime?

This week Jeff Brazier hosted a knees-up for care industry workers in Brighton.

'Date nights are rare as a single dad, so I seized the opportunity to take a certain someone with me,' reveals Jeff, 32.

'I'll call her 
NT and we met a few months ago.

'Anyway, I was sat at the table talking about versatile back movements (don't ask) when a nice couple, armed with salt and lemon, demanded I join them in a shot of tequila. 

'Giving a speech to 300 people is much easier if 
you're not hammered, 
so I politely declined.

'
But the lady wouldn't 
take no for 
an answer.

'As I psyched myself up for the shot, I noticed my date switch an identical glass of water for the tequila.

'I smugly licked the salt, downed the water, sucked the lemon and thanked the lady.

'This was the coolest thing I can remember a date doing for me in some time.'
