Olly Murs: I'll be abroad with JLS's Aston Merrygold for New Year's Eve

Olly Murs has lots of celebrity friends

JLS star Marvin Humes got engaged today during a romantic holiday with Rochelle Wiseman, but band mate Aston Merrygold is celebrating New Year's Eve with Xtra Factor presenter Olly Murs.

Aston, 23, and Olly, 27, are looking forward to partying together on a lads' break away in a foreign city.

'Me and the JLS guys are really good mates,' Olly revealed before Christmas.

'I think me and Aston are going to go away for New Year's Eve this year.

'We've been discussing options recently and trying to pick a good overseas destination.'

But it isn't just Aston that Olly has become friends with through his X Factor connections.

The singer - who came 2nd in the 2009 series - also hangs out with a number of other former contestants.

'I still see Stacey Solomon and Alexandra Burke,' Olly tells The Sun.

'When you come off the show you are a little family.'
