Heidi Range and Dave Berry have ended their relationship after 8 years together

Heidi Range and Dave Berry have ended their relationship just months before they were expected to marry.

The couple - who had been together 8 years - got engaged in 2009 and had been planning a winter wedding, but Heidi told fans of their split this weekend.

‘Very sadly, after eight years together, myself and Dave decided to separate a few months ago,' Tweeted Heidi, 28.

‘I wish him nothing but the best in life x'

TV presenter Dave, 33 - who takes over from Johnny Vaughan as a presenter on the Capital FM breakfast show in the New Year - released a statement on Saturday about his break-up with the Sugababes singer.

‘Dave Berry announced today that his engagement to partner Heidi Range has been broken off,' said a spokesperson for the star.

‘Mr Berry announced the news today although the couple agreed to separate in the autumn.

‘The split is amicable and no third parties are involved and he will make no further statement on the issue.'
