Journalist Dawn Porter can appreciate 1D's teen charisma

Caroline Flack's journalist pal Dawn Porter continues to back The Xtra Factor presenter's relationship with Harry Styles.

Caroline, 32, has caused quite a stir by hooking up with the 17-year-old One Direction star, but Dawn thinks Harry's different to most boys his age.

'I've made docs about controversial relationships & often realised that in many cases it's only other people's judgement that's the problem,' Tweets Dawn, 32.

'It's not about the age gap,' she continues, in response to a question about what she'd think if Harry was female and Caroline male.

'It's about the individual case. Some age gap relationships are wrong. No doubt.' 

And Dawn - who's dating comedian Chris O'Dowd, 32 - has even taken a liking to Harry's 18-year-old band mate Niall Horan.

'If I wasn't in a relationship you wouldn't be able to hold me back from Nial,' she jokes.
