Peter Andre has revealed that he suffered a panic attack when he saw photos of Alex Reid playing with his kids.
The reality TV star, dad to Junior, 6, and Princess, 4, by ex-wife Katie Price, struggled to cope when she introduced their children to the cage fighter - her then boyfriend - not long after she divorced Pete in September 2009.
'It killed me,' admits Pete, 38.
'I didn't just get stabbed in the heart, it got twisted and lifted.'
Pete says the snaps 'opened up an emotion' he 'didn't know existed'.
'I felt like I had been hit on the head with a hammer,' he tells Piers Morgan on his ITV show, which airs this weekend.
'I blanked out and woke up with blood all over my face.'
Katie, 33, married Alex, 36, in February 2010 but they split in January this year.
