Dave Berry has been revealed as Johnny Vaughan's replacement on the Capital FM breakfast show in 2012.
The 33-year-old, who currently presents the station's weekend morning programme, will co-host with Lisa Snowdon, 39, after Johnny, 45, left the London station in a shock exit last month.
'To be given the opportunity to wake up London every weekday morning is a dream come true,' Dave told Capital when he popped into the studio for the announcement this morning.
'I have an absolute passion for radio, I love this city and of course it's no bad thing working alongside the gorgeous Lisa Snowdon. Bring it on!'
Dave will take over from Johnny's temporary stand-in Greg Burns in the New Year.
'It's a great honour to be only the 3rd @958capbreakfast host in
24 years. Can't wait to get started! Thanks for all the twitter love. X,' he Tweets.
