Adam Shulman proposes to Hollywood star Anne Hathaway

Adam Shulman and Anne Hathaway have been dating for 3 years

Anne Hathaway is to marry jewellery designer Adam Shulman.

The Oscar-nominated actress's rep confirmed the news to Us Weekly after Anne was spotted out and about wearing a ring on her wedding finger.

The couple began dating in November 2008, shortly after she split from disgraced businessman Raffaello Follieri, who is now in prison for wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy. 

Though Adam was originally considered a rebound, Anne recently admitted that she grew smitten with him very quickly. 

'Adam totally ruined my plan,' Anne, 29, told Marie Claire.

'I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time and then I fall in love like a fool.'
