Myleene Klass's been one of the most familiar faces in showbiz for the past decade, with virtually her every move (and outdoor shower) tracked by people like me.
So when she Tweeted ‘Just married!' six weeks ago it seemed almost impossible that the former Hear' Say star could've tied the knot without a soul finding out.
Most showbiz observers had decided she'd never get round to marrying Graham Quinn (who she nicknames Gray), the love of her life.
They met in 2001 when he provided security for her former band.
After calling off their wedding in 2008 to focus on their first baby (Ava's now three and baby number two Hero arrived in March) they seemed blissfully happy as they were.
But Myleene, 33, is always one to surprise.
As we sit down over coffee and a mince pie, she is, as ever, bubbly, engaged and refreshingly outspoken.
Congratulations, lovely! I'm so happy for you.
'Thank you! I'm a Mrs now - I can't believe it.'
How long did it all take to plan?
'As the least romantic person you'll probably ever meet, I did the whole thing in two weeks.'
What took you so long?
'So many things happened. Ava popped up, Hero popped up.
'Another year my sister got divorced but went to Australia, so I took it on by proxy.
'You can't be planning a marriage when you're sitting with a divorce lawyer.'
Did that put you off marriage?
'Yes, of course. I know about contracts because of business and that's what you're doing in a marriage.
'I know now that I have a contract with Gray.
'When you can get divorced just like that, I started to question the value of marriage.'
Was there a point when you thought: ‘We're in a long-term relationship - there's absolutely no point in doing this?'
'I did.
'He was my common law husband.
'Then he'd go through a point of saying: ‘Come on, let's just do it.'
'Then I'd go through that stage.
'Then we'd both think the same.
'It seemed to bother everyone else more.'
So you weren't worried when people started to question your relationship?
'No! I mean you know Gray - he's very fiery.
'He's the fieriest Irishman I've ever met, which is one of the most attractive qualities ever because he's strong.
'He'd say: ‘Why do we care what anyone else thinks?'
Why did you decide to keep it so private?
'Like any new bride, I'd love to wax lyrical all day and tell you funny anecdotes from the night.
'But my family are not for sale.
'The reason I Tweeted it as soon as we were married was to take the burden off the people who'd kept the secret.
'As soon as that happened, the offers started coming in, which essentially put a price on our happiness.
'People justify selling their marriage by saying: ‘You know what, they're going to get the photos anyway.'
'Well, nobody did with me. The people who I trust, I trust implicitly.
'They kept silent.'
So you avoided turning the day into a media circus, right?
'I didn't want to say to my dad: ‘I know this is the greatest day of my life but you can't take any photos because I want to earn some money.'
'Some things just aren't for sale. Is nothing sacred?
'I love that there are only a few people in the world who know what happened at that ceremony.
'That gives me the biggest kick ever because it was genuinely something for us.'
