Lady Gaga: I don't have my own home but I love to cook and clean toilets

Singer Lady Gaga is very domesticated

Lady Gaga isn't afraid of getting stuck into household chores

It's easy to imagine Lady Gaga living in a huge Hollywood mansion with decor that's as eccentric as her wardrobe. But the singer doesn't even have her own place.

'I can't find a house that's "me",' she explains.

'I stay at my parents' a lot and in hotels and I'm happy. I'm only 25. People ­forget I'm young.'

Even though she hasn't invested in bricks and mortar, Gaga is actually a bit of a homebody who's not afraid to clean the loo.

'I was staying at a friend's house and...the toilet was dirty so I scrubbed it,' she tells the Sunday Mirror.

'They came home laughing ­because I was in a weird skirt and a funny outfit cleaning the toilet furiously.

'I watch cooking shows non-stop and I'm an excellent cook.

'You'd be
surprised if you came around for dinner. Anything Italian I'm good at.'
