Bodybuilder Jodie Marsh: At times I've been so miserable I've wanted to kill myself

Jodie Marsh hasn't always been the happy, body confident woman she is today.

The former glamour girl is now a professional bodybuilder after taking just 8 weeks to convert 20lb of fat to 8lb of pure muscle, and her new figure has left her feeling much happier than she has in previous years. 

'At times I've wanted to kill myself because I've been so miserable,' admits Jodie, 32.

Jodie, who was placed 5th in a bodybuilding contest last month, says she couldn't care less about people who don't like her new body.

'I know I look good,' she says.

'If I read negative comments now I just laugh. I love myself, I've found self-respect.'
