Jennifer Saunders: Dawn French's weight loss means she's smaller than me now

The comedienne's friend Dawn French is super-slim

Jennifer Saunders was given the all-clear from breast cancer in June 2010

Jennifer Saunders is now the heavier one in her friendship with Dawn French.

Comedienne Dawn, who once weighed 19st, has lost 6½ in 19 months - leaving the French And Saunders duo significantly lighter than they were 2 years ago.

'Dawn is smaller than me now,' says Jennifer, 53.

'She is this big (indicating 3in with her hand) - as big as a small fawn.'

Jennifer cuts a slim figure herself and is delighted Dawn, 54, has adapted a new healthy lifestyle.  

'She is so happy at the moment,' the Ab Fab star tells the Daily Mail.

'She looks really, really beautiful.'
