Will.i.am: Cheryl Cole always comes out fighting

Cheryl Cole's suffered divorce, life-threatening illness and a very public sacking in recent times - but her US manager Will.i.am insists she can handle it all.

Despite her axing from US X Factor in May, the Girls Aloud star has picked herself up and is looking to the future.

'The thing with Cheryl is she makes the best of every situation and always comes out fighting,' says Black Eyed Peas star Will, 36. 

'She has a lot of very exciting things coming up and we are working on a lot of projects.'

Will says Cheryl, 28, is 'very happy' at the moment and is even in demand from two of the top-ten rated shows in America.

'Nothing will ever keep that girl down for long, and I do mean nothing,' he adds

'She is an inspirational person.'
