Singer Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson are expecting their first child

Jessica Simpson posted this picture on her website to confirm her pregnancy

Jessica Simpson has announced that she's pregnant.

The singer, who's engaged to NFL star Eric Johnson, 32, shared her happy news on her official website yesterday. 

'It's true! I am going to be a mummy!' she wrote. 

Jessica, 31, also uploaded an image of herself cradling her baby bump. 

In a nod to her upcoming role as a parent, she dressed up as an Egyptian mummy in the picture. 

Eric proposed to Jessica in November 2010.
