Orlando Bloom: I found out at 13 who my father really was

Orlando Bloom has spoken out about his 'confusing' upbringing.

The actor thought his dad Harry Bloom had died of a stroke when he was 4 - but his mum revealed to him at the age of 13 that his biological father was actually 'family friend' Colin Stone.

'That was pretty interesting...finding out when I was 13 who my father really was,' says Orlando, 34.

'I think I reacted pretty well for a 13-year-old.'

Despite this teenage drama, Orlando - father to 9-month-old Flynn - has grown close to Colin, who's now a 'huge part' of his life.

'He's super excited about being a grandad, and I'm excited about it too, so he's amazing,' Orlando tells The Sun.

'But it was a pretty tricky thing to figure out when you are a kid.'
