The Aussie star has had a very difficult year

Dannii Minogue feared for her life

Dannii Minogue has spoken out about the hell she went through this year after her weight plummeted and her hair fell out.

The former X Factor judge, 39, feared she was suffering from cancer.

Big sister Kylie, 43, found out she had the disease in 2005 and Dannii supported her through her gruelling treatment.

‘In
my darkest moments I did really worry,'
Dannii tells Fabulous, 'because of family history - it
could be something that serious.

'The last year was incredibly tough.'

Thankfully Dannii's symptoms were the result of a thyroid problem.

The Australian singer has also battled months of speculation about her relationship with boyfriend Kris Smith being on the rocks.

Their son Ethan was born in July 2010.
