Helen Flanagan turns to Kym Marsh for advice about panic attacks

Frightened Coronation Street star learning to deal with scary episodes

Kym Marsh has been supporting Helen Flanagan

Actress Helen Flanagan has been suffering from panic attacks, with the latest one being so severe that the Coronation Street set came to a standstill.

‘As anyone who has ever suffered from them knows, they are very scary.' says Helen.

'I did have one at work and everyone was very understanding but I didn't know what might have caused it.

Helen, 21, who plays Rosie Webster, returned to the soap this week - her character comes back from modelling in London - and the star has been taking the opportunity to get advice from colleagues.

‘I am speaking to people like Kym Marsh who has said that in the past she suffered from them too,' Helen tells the Daily Mirror.

‘I am trying to work out what triggers them so that I can start to deal with them and move forward.

‘But I am starting to realise that they are more common than people think and that there are ways of dealing with them.'
