When we join Pixie Lott for a glam photo shoot at a studio in London, we hardly recognise her.
It's bye-bye boho barnet and hippy florals, hello mod-inspired monochromes and messy bob as she models her latest Pixie Loves Lipsy range.
We get the skinny on her image change.
'I just fancied a change - I've had long hair for ages,' she tells us.
'So many people go through life with the same haircut and I just thought: "Hair grows!" so I went for something different.
'It's exciting to have a new look.'
Pixie has been working with Emma Watson's styling team.
Is the Harry Potter star a bit of a style icon to the singer?
'A team called Katie & Polly styled me for my new video and they also work with Emma,' says Pixie, 20.
'I think she has great style but it's different to mine - her look's more red carpet.
'I've been wearing young designers who are cool on the scene right now, such as Emma Cook, Marios Schwab, Christopher Kane and Emilio de la Morena.'
