Ashley Cole wants to get back with ex-wife Cheryl Cole

Ashley Cole wants his mum Sue to help him win back Cheryl Cole - by getting Chezza's mother Joan Callaghan to accept the idea of a reconciliation.

‘Sue and Joan always got on well,' reveals Now's source.

‘She might be able to help Ashley get back into Joan's good books.'

Meanwhile, we hear that Ashley's planning to surprise Cheryl with a £290,000, 10-carat sparkler.

‘He's buying her the ring to end all rings,' says our insider.

‘He was going to get her a £200,000 one in July when they were first trying to patch things up.

'But then there were all those allegations he'd been sleeping with other girls, so he left it.

'Now he's getting an even bigger ring.

'Ashley couldn't find anything he liked, so he's having one handmade.'
