EastEnders star tries to pick up the pieces after fiancé’s betrayal

Jessie Wallace was set to wed fiancé Vince Morse after revealing their engagement at the British Soap Awards earlier this year

Jessie Wallace has now jetted off to Crete but, before she got on the flight to the Greek island - where she was meant to be on honeymoon - the EastEnders actress was holed up at her Surrey home in floods of tears as she struggled to come to terms with her broken heart.

The EastEnders actress thought Vince Morse was ‘the one'.

Instead she's facing death threats and the worst public humiliation and betrayal of her life.

In a horrible twist that would rival any EastEnders storyline, the 39-year-old's perfect £300,000 wedding to her dream man was called off.

This was after a Sunday paper revealed - on the day she was due to walk down the aisle - that her husband-to-be Vince, 50, had sent an X-rated pic of Jessie to his ex Karen Short, 47, asking for a threesome.

Now close friends say Jessie, who's been engaged twice before, has threatened to give up on love and, even worse, her dreams of having a sibling for her six-year-old daughter Tallulah.

‘Seeing graphic photos plastered all over the papers is hard enough to deal with,' says Now's exclusive insider.

‘But for the culprit to wind up being the person she trusted most in the world is a whole new level of hurt.

'She's in pieces. At first she was in shock, then extremely angry but now she's quite literally broken down and sobbed her heart out all week.'
