Emotional singer tells fans of love split

George Michael and Kenny Goss first began dating in 1996

George Michael has revealed that he's split from his long-term partner Kenny Goss, 52, after 13 years together.

The star opened up about the break-up on the opening night of his Symphonica tour in Prague and admitted that the couple had actually ended their relationship some time ago.

‘In truth, Kenny and I haven't been together for two and a half years,' George, 48, told fans.

‘This man has brought me a lot of joy and pain.

‘My love life has been a lot more turbulent than I've ever let on.

'I'm so sad about my relationship with Kenny, I'm sorry for any pain.

'My battles with substances are well documented. My partner has been through his own battle.'

George also paid tribute to Amy Winehouse during his show with a rendition of Love Is A Losing Game.

‘In 30 years of making music, I've never been in as much awe of anyone who has come along on the British scene,' George said of the Back To Black soulstress.

‘The fact that we won't be hearing any more from her is beyond words.'
