Amy Childs and Tara Reid shack up with Kerry Katona in Celebrity Big Brother house

The Only Way Is Essex meets Hollywood in luxury pad

Amy Childs wouldn't reveal whether she'd taken her vajazzle kit into the Celebrity Big Brother house

Kerry Katona was the first housemate to enter the new look Celebrity Big Brother house last night in an extravagant black dress with organza tail.

The reality TV veteran was then joined by Hollywood actress Tara Reid, who left behind her new husband in the US to take part in the Channel 5 series, which is hosted by ex-contestant Brian Dowling.

My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding star Paddy Doherty then joined the girls, followed by a glitzy Amy Childs, who's traded in her role on The Only Way Is Essex for a place in the house. 

Australian paparazzo Darryn Lyons was next to walk down the spiral staircase, then Sally Bercow - the headstrong wife of House Of Commons Speaker John Bercow.

Coronation Street's Lucien Laviscount, David's ex Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, model Bobby Sabel and X Factor twins Jedward - dressed in tiger costumes - completed this year's line-up.

Kerry was quick to play the doting mother role, offering each celeb a drink upon their arrival, while Amy wasted no time in striking up a conversation about bronzer.

Despite reports, Charlie Sheen isn't in this year's show but boxer Ricky Hatton and Baywatch star Pamela Anderson are rumoured to be taking part.
