Charlotte Church's mum thinks she should have married Gavin Henson

Charl's mum Maria wants her to get back with her kids' dad

Charlotte Church was briefly engaged to Gavin Henson

Charlotte Church's mum Maria reckons Gavin Henson would have made a great husband.

Charlotte, 25, split with Gavin, 29, who's the father of her two children Ruby, four, and Dexter, two, in May last year - just weeks after he'd proposed to her.

Four months later she was dating Jonathan Powell, 24, who helped her produce her second album Back To Scratch.

‘Maria believes Charlotte should've worked out her differences with Gavin and married him while she had the chance,' a friend tells Now.

‘She doesn't think it's too late for her to get back with him and, for the sake of their two children 
and for her own future, settle down.'
