Mum tells Charlotte Church: Dump Jonathan Powell for Gavin Henson!

Charl's mum Maria wants her to get back with her ‘more successful' ex

Charlotte Church has recently gone for a new look with a bright red bob

A year ago, Charlotte Church was left devastated following her painful split with Gavin Henson.

However, it didn't take long for her to bounce back, thanks to her mum setting her up with struggling musician Jonathan Powell.

But fast-forward a year and it seems everything has changed: Now has learnt that Charlotte's mum Maria is seriously regretting playing cupid and is desperate for the singer, 25, to reunite with former fiancé Gavin, 29. 

Perhaps constant talk of him wanting to find a wife on his new show The Bachelor has something to do with it?

A close friend of Maria tells Now: ‘Maria says that Jonathan's a nice guy but 
she now realises that's not enough for Charlotte.

'She thinks her daughter needs a man who 
can take 
the wheel for her now and again.

'With Jonathan, Charlotte's definitely the one in charge and he falls in line.'
