Actress Hilary Duff is going to be a mum

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie have been together for 4 years

Hilary Duff and her hockey player husband Mike Comrie are expecting their first child together.

The actress, who's been married to Mike for a year, announced the happy news on her official site.

'Hello everyone! This weekend, Mike and I are celebrating our 1 year anniversary!' Hilary, 23, wrote.

'In memory of the special day, we decided to post some of our favourite pictures from our wedding!

'I can't believe it has already been a year, time really flies when you're having fun!

'We also want to share the exciting news that BABY MAKES THREE!!! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives.

'Thanks to everyone for the continued love and support throughout the years.'

Hilary and Mike, 30, started dating in 2007 and married in Santa Barbara, California last August.
