It's official - Liverpool and England player Steven Gerrard is the hottest man in football.

If you're a gay man with a penchant for a fine pair of legs, that is.

In a survey conducted by online dating website Gaydar.co.uk, Steven beat Chelsea's Fernando Torres to the top spot, with Christine Bleakley's fiancé Frank Lampard coming in 3rd and Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas 4th

Poor Abbey Clancy's hubby Peter Crouch received just 2% of the vote. 

The 4,200 men who took part in the poll decided Manchester United are the best looking football team, but voted their striker Wayne Rooney as having the 'worst hair'.

Nothing a good hair transplant can't sort out...
