Miranda Kerr: My baby boy Flynn was 10lb at birth because I didn't stop eating

Miranda Kerr put on 18kg when pregnant with Flynn Bloom

Miranda Kerr had quite a shock when son arrived Flynn weighing just under 10lb.

The model, who's been married to actor Orlando Bloom, 34, for a year, regrets rejecting offers of pain-relieving drugs when giving birth in January.

'I didn't know he was going to be so big,' says Miranda, 28.

'My doctor miscalculated and she thought he would be 8lb max...'

Miranda wishes she'd listened to her grandmother's warnings when she was overeating during her pregnancy.

'I was eating so much and my grandma was like, "Love, you had better stop eating. You're going to make a big baby and I don't know how you are going to push it out",' she tells the Sydney Morning Herald.

'I was like, "Nan, it's fine", but she was the only one who knew.'
