Kelly Osbourne reckons Prince William should give Kate Middleton a bigger wardrobe budget.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who often recycles old outfits, was commended in a new Vanity Fair poll of International Best Dressed Women for wearing high street - but Kelly is sure US fans won't approve.

'In England they are like, "Look how thrifty she's being", showing the British public that the royals are in a recession as well,' Kelly, 26, declared on US TV.

'Only in this country they call it a faux pas.'

Kelly reckons Kate, 29, deserves a new outfit every day after making huge sacrifices by marrying into royalty.

'If I am going to be the future bloody Queen of England I'm going to wear that dress once,' she told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.

'I'm giving up the rest of my life, all of my privacy. So at least I can get a new dress every day.'
