Jack Tweed believes late wife Jade Goody's phone was hacked in the final days before she died of cervical cancer in March 2009.

Sunday tabloid The News Of The World closed down last month after it was exposed for hacking the voicemails of celebrities and crime victims - including murdered Milly Dowler - and Jack is convinced Jade's privacy was also violated.

'There was so much going on but I always wondered how they knew about when I lifted Jade up to see her sons Bobby and Freddie playing outside in her final moments,' says Jack, 24.

'It was only the 2 of us in the room.'

Jack says Jade, who was 30 when she passed, suspected herself that her phone had been hacked because the media knew things she'd only told him or her best friend.

The Essex club promoter now hopes to get compensation from from News International and plans to give any pay-out to Jade's sons Bobby, 8, and Freddie, 6.

'If they did that when she had terminal cancer, it's disgusting,' her says.

'There are limits to where you go. 

'I don't want them to get away with it, and she wouldn't have wanted that, either.'
