BABY JOY! Westlife star Kian Egan: Jodi Albert and I can't wait to be parents

The pair Tweet their excitement at pregnancy

Kian Egan and Jodi Albert have been together for 7 years

Kian Egan and Jodi Albert have announced they're expecting their first child together.

The popstar couple, who married in Barbados in May 2009, confirmed the happy news on Twitter.

'Myself and my wife @JodiWonderland are delighted to say we are expecting our first baby! We are so happy and cannot wait to be parents x,' Kian, 31, wrote on the social networking site yesterday.

After followers responded with their congratulations, Kian later Tweeted: 'Thank you all so much for the lovely messages. We are so excited to be parents. Thanks for all the love and support x.' 

Westlife star Kian manages Jodi's up-and-coming girlband Wonderland, but the former Hollyoaks actress doesn't believe her pregnancy will get in the way of their hopes of chart success. 

'For those worrying..Wonderland are not breaking up!That band means the world to me & the baby in my belly loves listening to my girls sing,' Jodi, 28, Tweeted.
