Daniel Craig: I wanted my wedding to Rachel Weisz to stay top secret

James Bond star proved he could be a real-life spy with his clandestine preparations

Daniel Craig won't reveal how he avoided the media

Daniel Craig has revealed how he used all of his 007 skills to keep his wedding to Rachel Weisz under wraps. 

The James Bond actor, 43, married in New York last month with only the couple's children and two family friends present. 

Daniel confirmed he did everything in his power to hide the event from the media. 

'I did it secretly - I can't tell you how I pulled it off,' he told journalists at a press junket for his new film Cowboys & Aliens. 

'My private life is incredibly important to me, and certainly that aspect of it is more than incredibly important to me.'

Daniel and Oscar-winning actress Rachel, 41, have known each other since 2004 but became close while filming thriller Dream House last year.

Their friendship developed into a romance and, after spending Christmas together in Somerset, they decided to tie the knot.
