Lucy Benjamin: I took a flight to Dubai and met the man of my dreams on board

Former EastEnders actress Lucy Benjamin feels her life is complete.

She and husband Richard Taggart are proud parents of 2 daughters, Bessie, 4, and Rosie, 4 months. 

'I hardly get time to brush my teeth these days,' says Lucy, 41. 

'But I'm so happy and content that my life is normal and solid. Your priorities change when you become a parent, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

'Everything fits in around me as a wife and mother now.'

Lucy met oil broker Richard on a flight to Dubai in June 2005 and the couple married in March 2006 - the day after the actress discovered she was pregnant with Bessie. 

'The last 6 years have turned out to be like the best dream ever,' she tells Hello!

'I would never have imagined when I boarded a flight as a resolutely single woman that I would end up falling in love, getting engaged, then married and pregnant, within the space of 9 months.'
