Kimberley Walsh: Cheryl Cole and I went clubbing and got drunk on tequila in LA

Cheryl Cole and Kimberley Walsh became friends when they joined Girls Aloud

Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl Cole had a wild holiday together in LA earlier this month.

The Girls Aloud pair met up with Cheryl's ex-boyfriend Derek Hough, 26, and eventually managed to escape the paparazzi so they could go dancing.

'It was wonderful to go and chill out completely and Cheryl and I spoilt ourselves with massages and cocktails and nice meals out,' says Kimberley, 29.

'We met up with Derek Hough for a catch-up over dinner and we even managed a night of clubbing, incognito.

'We had a bit of a dance and discovered coffee-flavoured Patrón Tequila - it makes you a nice happy drunk, so it was our girls' holiday drink of choice.'

Cheryl, 28, has bought a £3m apartment in California but Kimberley doesn't fancy settling in America.

'It was tough to come back,' she admits.

'LA is such a mad world, it's nice to dip in and out of, but I wouldn't live there.'
