Brit-born Matt Bellamy and Kate Hudson are engaged

Kate Hudson and fiancé Matt Bellamy have asked friends to plant 'celebration trees' in honour of their new baby boy.

The actress gave birth to Muse rocker Matt's son on Saturday in Los Angeles, but his name has not yet been revealed.

The couple will be spending a few weeks in London - while Muse record their 6th album - before taking their new arrival back to their new £3.3m 'English style' mansion in LA.

Matt, 33, and Kate, 32, who is also mum to son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson, don't expect to be in any one place for long.

'We travel, we'll be where we are,' Kate, 32, told the Daily Record recently. 'We don't really know where that is.

'We obviously know London and LA is where we live, but between [Matt's] job and my job, a travelling family is just what it is.'
