Alex Reid now dates fellow Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton
Alex Reid has revealed that Katie Price's mates told him not to go ahead with their Las Vegas wedding - but he ignored their advice.

The cage fighter, who married Katie, 33, in February 2010 was very publicly dumped by the glamour girl in January this year before she quickly moved on to new boyfriend Leandro Penna, 26. 

'Everyone - I mean, everyone - warned me against marrying her,' says Alex, 35.

'Even Katie's closest friends told me not to do it.'

Though Alex says he was 'blindly in love' with the glamour mode - and would love to woo her back - he knows just how first husband Peter Andre felt during his marriage to Katie.

Mysterious Girl singer Pete, 38, got sick of her bolshy alter ego Jordan.  

'I didn't see it at the time, but now I do,' says Alex.

'I now understand what Pete was talking about when he said he loved Katie, but not Jordan.'
