Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: I'm not posh, I grew up with pigs and sheep
Gorgeous Transformers star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's posh surname caused her grief growing up.
‘We always used to tease her about her double-barrelled name and how posh it sounded,' reveals former school pal Samantha Neale.
‘We'd say to her: "Can we meet the servants?" whenever we went round to hers.'
In reality, 24-year-old Rosie insists she's just a small town girl at heart - she says she'd hang around drinking cider with her mates like a typical teenager.
‘People assume I grew up with a silver spoon in my mouth because of the surname, but nothing is further from the truth,' she says.
Born in Plymouth, Rosie spent her childhood in the town of Tavistock with her younger brother Toby, now 21, and sister Florence, now 18.
Her dad Charles was a chartered surveyor and mum Fiona a fitness instructor.
‘I grew up on a farm with chickens, ducks, sheep, pigs and horses,' reveals Rosie.
‘But my mum was always very glamorous and beautiful.'
